Pack Your Bags ...

LACA is next week, August 1-7, already! So I hope everyone is packing their bags and getting ready to have some fun, participate in the meeting and elections, and, most importantly, to soak up a lot of great information, because in addition to our established instructors we are featuring Anne Marie Lucas and the staff from NY/ASPCA from "Animal Precinct," as well as animal behaviorist Sue Sternberg.

Also, for the first time, instead of simply having literature and giveaway display tables from various agencies and vendors in the registration and breakroom, we are having a vendor exhibit area at our hotel. Vendors include Pet Safe, Hill's Science Diet Shelter Feeding Program, Petfinder, Crawford, Jones Trailer, ACES, Tomahawk, Alley Cat Allies and others who will have displays August 4, 5 and 6 at the Comfort Inn so you can meet with each exhibitor, ask questions, pick up a few freebies and, most importantly, learn about their services.

We will also have a silent auction during the event, and door prizes, including the grand prize of a LACA scholarship for the 2006 Academy donated by Petz Plaza in Baton Rouge. You must be present in the exhibit area to win door prizes and silent auction items and you must have visited all of the vendors to receive a prize. Details will be explained at the Academy.

We have terrific educational opportunities, food, fun and prizes for everyone. Looking forward to seeing you all next week.

August 1: CAET training

August 2:

i have no actual experience with animal other than having many over the years who i loved like family. i'm heartbroken over what i've seen on tv with the poor animals who have been left behind. i feel like they deserve a right to live without starving or dying of dehydration. i have a few days i could help to round up these animals and save their lives and hopefully get them back together with their families. please let me know if i can help. i feel a need to do this.

If it is not too much out of point here; please respond with some useful info about these programs.

this post wasn’t exactly what I was looking for but it

remove spyware related information and I’m glad I did
even though its not an exact fit. Let me contribute
to your website by leaving you with one of my favorite
quote from Thomas Jefferson: "To err is human - and to
blame it on a computer is even more so. - Robert Orben
Informative Post, thanks for the read and nice

Hey this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if
you have to manually code with HTML. I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
